Ever since Savannah Summers and Seth Calder met when they were six years old, they've been inseparable. Countless nights spent in the tree house, deep dark secrets revealed under the safety of a blanket, devious pranks, and endless days of laughter, sarcastic banter, and just being themselves make a recipe for the best kind of friendship.
At the end of freshmen year, however, their friendship takes a hit. Savannah finds out that Seth's father has acquired a new job.
The thing is.... it's all the way in Washington. Seth must leave his best friend back in California. Savannah must learn to survive high school without Seth, with only phone calls and video chats to keep their friendship alive. Or so she thought...
Several days before junior year comes to an end, Seth reveals that he is coming back for senior year. When he returns, Savannah quickly learns that not only has Seth changed, but so has their friendship.... for better or for worse? You'll have to find out.

"What's this?" Seth asked, pointing to a paper hanging on my cork board.
"Oh that... don't make fun of me.. but it's my dreamer's list," I said.
"What's a dreamer's list?" he asked, tilting his head slightly.

[COMPLETED] "We both agreed, Apollo! We said no feelings, no attachments! You promised you wouldn't get attached." I look down at my lap in worry and shame. I have no idea what to say, I promised her, but like an idiot I broke that promise. "Say something!"
My breath hitches and I look up at my beautiful girl through my lashes, my eyes brimming with tears because I know after tonight we won't be seeing each other again. I stand up from the edge of the bed and walk over to her, watching as her chest moves up and down harshly with each breath. My eyes trail over the love marks I left moments ago when we were happy to only get lost in each other's arms temporarily.
She's mad at me.
I never wanted her to be mad at me.
"I'm sorry, baby," I whisper reaching forward to run my finger along her cheek catching the falling tear that flows down her soft skin.
"You promised." She whispers.
I know.
"I promise I'm not attached, Blue."
Too late.
