This story takes place after and before the TMNT movie from 2007* Calla and her four sisters were walking home one night when they saw a brain thing crawl in front of them. They followed it and it ended up being trap set by the Foot, and they had mutagen put into their blood stream. Their mother, scared that their father, a local scientist would experiment on their daughters, gave them away to a girl who offered them shelter. Little did she know, she gave her daughters away to the Foot Clan, just as they planned. But they are still being watched from another group, who are awaiting their chance to take them away and save them from the evil minds of the now awakened Shredder.

(Book Two of Experiment Number 7218. Do not read this summary or book if you have not read Book One) I listen closely through the static on the radio, trying to hear the emergency broadcasting message. An electronic voice repeated over and over, "This message is transmitted to you through the North Carolina Police Department. It is advised to stay indoors and to remain inside if at all possible. Have enough food for one to two weeks. Do not come in contact with anyone outside of your household. This message is transmitted to you through the North Carolina Police Department." Casey gets introduced earlier on in the season, Spike has been mutated to Slash (but the Mighty Mutanimals don't exist), Tigerclaw recently came back from the worm with a hatred for April and Casey, Bebop and Rocksteady haven't mutated, and Karai has just been mutated- and is nowhere to be found. --|WARNING!: Fighting scenes with the use of weapons are described in the story. Aja was a normal human, working part time in an aquarium with the axolotls, a newer exhibit. One night she was walking home from work when she runs into the turtles, fighting the Kraang. She tried to help the turtles, despite being confused as hell, but gets splashed with mutagen. She is, understandably, freaked out when she suddenly gets a pink axolotls features. Donnie was hurt. April had told him the truth, albeit with infinite gentleness. She wasn't interested in him, and was in a relationship with Casey. He was sad, understandably, but his attention was brought from that when he meets a newly mutated person. Look, I know that ROTTMNT came out, but I grew up watching the 2012 version, so I'm going to do a story on a key part of my childhood.
