He reaches his hand out to mine and I happily let him hold it. I can feel my heart hammering so loudly in my chest. I bite my bottom lip while gently tracing my fingers in circles over his hand. He grips my hand a little tighter which pulls my eyes to his.
"What's going on in that pretty little head of yours?" His voice deep while his fingers move from my hand to push some loose hair behind my ear.
My breath hitches in my throat at his touch. His thumb traces my bottom lip, his eyes darken with hunger and need.
Clearing my throat, I wriggle out of his hold and divert my eyes down to my lap.
