Prevailing Her

Cameron Hastings is a troubled teen. She lost all parental guidance after her mom died, causing her dad to be a raging alcoholic, and not guiding his daughter in the correct direction. She needed to find a way of coping with the pain of losing her mother and gaining a terrible influence in the house. She soon finds an addicting, unhealthy way of coping, but that didn't seem to bother her.

She went to parties, got drunk, did drugs, and let boys take advantage of her. She was so naive. She has trust issues, causing her to sleep around, giving her the feel of something, but without the commitment. But when sweet, innocent, Noah comes around and tries to help her, showing that someone can actually care for her and not use her, will she get scared and run, or will he help her understand what it's like to love?
