"Tell me." He lifts my chin up so that I am looking directly in his beautiful brown eyes. I look away.
"Tell you what?" I ask, trying to convey as much truthfulness although we both know I'm lying.
"Samantha, look at me. What are you so afraid of?" Those eyes, stupid beautiful brown eyes. They convince me to tell him. Mustering up as much courage as I can I look him straight in the eye and say,
"I don't know if I can, but I'll try."
