All of their choices make a rebellion go wrong. What happens when sleep-deprived and hung-over rebels with relationship drama are tasked with ransacking and burning down a building? A lot of awkwardness, irritation, and trust issues. After a fire that doesn't go as expected, Emi seeks sanctuary in Zafran with only a backpack on her. Dangerous territory that could see her arrested or killed. If the Supremacy finds out what she's carrying, she could lose everything she's been fighting for, and so much more. Miles is a co-leader with Emi of the rebel group, Spring, and he has a lot he needs to get off his chest, but the timing couldn't be worse. How is he supposed to mend his relationship when Emi won't even talk to him? Pablo didn't want to get up today. In fact, he'd rather not get up at all, but Miles was idiot and it was best Pablo was there to witness. Never expected to find out that no one knew what they were doing at the mission target. What happened to the briefing? And why are Emi and The Vocate acting so suspicious? Whether it was a mistake or it was planned, Spring's attack on an airport leaves more than a fire. It allows the Supremacy to get exactly what it wants. The lives of those in Zafran will be changed forever. This is the story of Spring. Get to know these characters by their thoughts and actions, and how they navigate the world. Their paths converge and join with a Supremacy officer, a rebel from Twin Blades, a charming Vocate, and a volunteer fire fighter.
