Love at Midnight

Adriana is an artist and not at all a fan of sports, but, in the terms of following "family tradition," she is expected to attend a baseball game on the first Tuesday of every month. Not understanding the games is a big part of why she hates them- not that it matters to her parents. One again forced to come, she expects nothing out of the ordinary to happen- until her unsupportive father steals her car and leaves her stranded in the stadium's parking lot at midnight.

Hoping to escape from a drunken man's harassment, she manages to sneak into an unlocked car that's property of Peyton Nance- the youngest and most renowned player of the team. He offers to give her a ride home at the simple price of her entering a contest under his name. After some convincing, Adriana agrees and is thrust into the backstage world of a professional sport's league.

Along with balancing the competition, financial struggle, and a newly found friendship blooming into something more, Adriana will have to make the choice of pursuing her dream of becoming an artist or disappointing her business-oriented family.
