Drake, Grayson, and Mia set off in their respectful directions after heading through their portals. Drake, on his way home, discovers that Armen is alive, and his sister, Viana, is in prison under the Emperor's clutches, and that her bff, Madison, has come back after years of hiding out in unknown territory. Grayson, setting off to find a resting place, finds his old friend, Luke, and on the way, they find a little girl who's parents got slaughtered by HIM and decided to take her with them. Mia, heading back to her village, has come across a direction leading her to a best friend, Lalea, and Mia's sister, Red Queen. But once they meet, the task isn't too simple. They need to hatch the Dragon egg, stop Herobrine, and find out the true past of Armen and Drake. During their mission, they have many adventures and encounter many hassles. The most struggle is that Herobrine lives on inside of Drake, and is spreading more each day.

The trio went through their respective portals, but only one made it directly home. With Grayson assumed to be in hiding, the emperor has ordered his top assassin, Luke and the rest of his mercenaries to find the Enderman hybrid to use him as bait for Grayson, but rumors from spies have spread in the palace that the hybrid is more than meets the eye. Drake struggles with keeping his mind and health in balance as a demon is threatening to take control of his body to spread his chaos and destruction.
