The Joker is having a night out with Batman, everything is amazing and wonderful! Or is it?
Literally this is something I wrote last minute and really quickly because I was upset and needed to vent somehow. But anyway, yeah I know it probably doesn't make sense, especially with how batman just kinda gets all mean out of know where but ya, this is a vent story. Thanks for reading!

A Modern Joke
As an aspiring writer, it's difficult not to look at stories you love and wonder 'What if?' I have notice how the Joker's origin in The Killing Joke and the Joker movie (2019) both stories take place during the 1980s. But what if it took place today? That's what I try to answer! In this original work I explore how a complex character like the Joker could emerge and be influence by current social problems. It's a romantic, and specially mysterious short story that I wish one day could help me make it to DC as a comic book writer, and if I don't, at least I enjoyed writing it, and I hope you enjoy reading it! Disclaimer: This story is an original idea, of course I reference moments from DC comics and I borrow their characters to tell the story (After all, It's a fan fiction), but each character belongs to the respective owners.Kumpleto

No one sees Batman without a mask except Alfred. Batman is darker, already slightly twisted in the head - he's spent his whole life, fighting people like the Joker, people who don't deserve his pity. So he doesn't give then them any. He holds grudges even beyond the memory of others.
