Lukas has spent most of his life as just him and his brother, when suddenly Matthias happens. There's something about him, Lukas admits. Even if he acts coldly there's definitely something in the obnoxious man's smile that gets his heart running marathons
(Title is the same as one of my favorite tracks from Nephew, since I couldn't really think of much else. This is mainly fluffy though there might be some other things later like angst or smut. Also the cover art isn't mine, I found it online)

I just wrote all of this and then I accidentally deleted it as well as the book cover. I'm somewhat infuriated atm. The book was written as I fell in love for the first time, while in the Swedish equivalent of High School so it should be one hell of a ride ;) It may need some updating and I'll get to that some day, but it's perfectly readable in the meantime. A lot of my friends have approved the book as well. It is dedicated to my former best friend Adam, whom also was my biggest fan I think. Anywhoo, the book is about a boy named Ethan Bennett, his best friends Matt and Diana, his half-brother Josh and their friend Sophie. Later you'll also be introduced to Isabelle May. It's a feel good story about a loving high school friend group. I think that's all I'm going to say... Happy reading :) Oh and also, my characters aren't going through anything extremely traumatic, but just like most teens nowadays they all have their struggles with life and mental health and so on. Berwald was trying to make sure Matthias didn't do anything stupid as they followed the Icelander's foot prints. "The aurora borealis, it's not there." Lukas said still looking up at the sky. It was a clear night, next to no clouds. Millions of stars filled the sky accompanied with an almost full moon. But it was weird not having the lights dancing through the sky. Tino looked up at the sky, he was just as shocked by it as Lukas was. He was about to make a comment when suddenly he heard Lukas walking past him. Telling him that they needed to hurry up unless they wanted Matthias and Berwald to get too far ahead. Tino really didn't want that so he hurried along with Lukas. Lukas has known about his illness for a while, but never looked for help. He always had his little brother. Until his brother moved off to Hong Kong to stay with his lover. Mathias has always hated uncureable patients, they made him feel so sorry. Lukas seeks out for help after having a terrible seizure. He could tell he was soon to have more, or even a stroke at that. Even though all the pain...he had yet to show emotion. But, since he won't live much longer....what can Mathias do? To save the boy, with the troubled mind?Complete
