Its been 223 years since the End and the survivors have made life as liveable as they can. The current generation only know of the End from stories that have been passed on from their ancestors. Strange pillars of fire and light, scorching and burning the Earth. Life is much different now from before the End. Humanity has tried their best not to repeat the mistakes of those from before.
But we are still human after all...
19 year old Jack is only a few days away from turning 20 and being allowed to leave Home with the other scouts to look for resources. But little does he know that the day he looks forward to will also be the day he can never forget...
