This is a story that follows a character of mine, Jetstrike, and some of her friends that had a terrifying tragedy that affected their whole life. These people are named: Caitlin, Birdy, and Casslyn or her nickname being Badass.

For the love of God, this is a very cringe book, I wrote it in 2018. It's not realistic, it's very full of "2017 cringe". A boy and a girl (Patrick and Carrie) are best friends and do everything together. When Patrick was drafted into the war Carrie decided to join as well and they stayed by each others sides. When Patrick went off with a different troop something bad happened and Carrie thought he died. She knew that he wasn't dead and decided to find him, even if it took her entire lifetime, and was taken to a lair by doctors from the military. She was now had special abilities and was classified as a defender of Earth and she could finally find her friend.
