Patrick Stouts is a locally well known psychologist who lives the the town Camdenton, Illinois and experts in nightmares and sleep paralysis. When Patrick is working with one of his patients suffering from night terrors, he is visited by Walter Wattons, the lead scientist and CEO of WATT Labs. Walter tells Patrick about this new merical drug that will stop nightmares happening to people while they sleep. Walter asks Patrick to fly down to the Lab in an isolated facility outside of Denver, Colorado and help complete and test the new nightmare killing drug. However, nobody, not even Patrick, knows about the sinister ability of this drug and the deep horrors it hides as it brings out the truth about nightmares.
