Under any circumstances do not let the vampires get to you, am I understood?" She looks scary, it made my hair at the back of my neck stand up. Do my parents know what kind of job I'm doing? Am I going to be like Sydney, and what happened to her? Does her death not mean anything to them anymore? I will get my revenge, even if they think I don't know about their system. Because I do.
"Of course mam." Sydney told me that I should be polite even if they don't like me, because respect will bring me closer to them and their boss. She smiles and tells me that she would like to speak with my mother and father tomorrow. (Since it was Friday, they were both free.) I am the only child in the family, so I need to work for the Alchemists and get my money for college. Like Sydney, we had so much in common that many people think we are sisters even though we look nothing alike.
I will always remember her in my heart.
I smile at the the woman, because I knew I had a mission to find who killed Sydney and why.

The book title came together with the help of my older brother who is quite good with titles while I am not great at figuring out book titles but am good at writing stories and chapter titles. The book title may be added on to in the future but only time will determine that. This is the first book of the series. Once again I would like to remind everyone the story is ALL MINE. To all my devoted readers it is my hope that all of you will enjoy my story.

Everyone has one thing or more things, that make them special. Perfect examples, able to burp the ABC's, singing backwards or even making things float with your mind. Yeah you heard me, I can make things float with my mind, and later you'll be finding what else I can do. For the longest time, it was always me, Aunt Grace and my best friend in all the world Lucas. My parents both died when I was little and I don't remember them; so I've been living with my Aunt ever since. We have family, but they aren't exactly in our zip code and they don't exactly keep in touch. We don't either, so we are really no better then them. The first day at my knew school, lets just say I blew the roof off the castle. Long story short, really fast way to make people hate you even more then they already do real fast. There is also Hunters, that want to kill all of us, just because we are different.
