Leto is a typical teenager, except for the fact that he is an eighty-five year old vampire. The tightly kept secret of vampirism is something that he and the rest of the Pontus city vampires share. With the exception of the excessive night life that goes on in the seaside city, things are relatively peaceful. That is, until a string of murders begin, each body found washed up on the beach drained of blood.
As the vampires of the community rush to figure out who has broken their most sacred rule, to never take a human life, Leto has other problems on his hands. A girl who he met one night by the waters edge that is neither vampire nor human, but something completely different.
As the two grow closer and their secrets are revealed, they decide they must figure out who has been killing the humans of Pontus. With time running out and the townspeople growing more suspicious, Leto must put an end to the dangerous killer of Pontus before the life of the girl he loves is taken.

Then in his eyes I saw my reflection. And in that reflection I saw something. I saw my vampire fangs slowly turing back into my regular teeth.
