Prologue
Taki Tachibana,a high school student doesn't know how his future will turn out.Everyone in his life expects that he will become a dropout,even his parents doesn't seem to bother with their son.In all this confusion he is confronted by a girl named,Miyamizu Mitsuha.
A bond of friendship develops between them and Mitsuha comes to know of Taki's problems. She makes up her mind to help him make the right choices and to stray him away from becoming a dropout.
In the process of doing so they both develop feelings for each other,but both of them are afraid that if the other comes to know about each of the individuals feelings their bond would be broken.
So they go on about their own activities.What will happen to them;Are they the so called star-crossed lovers or will they overcome their fears and find the perfect end?A very interesting story lies ahead for them.
