In the future of the Clans, Windclan, Riverclan, Thunderclan, and Shadowclan was torn apart by a massive storm. This storm caused many cats to die in tornados, floods, mudslides, or slipping onto rocks. The clans though have been survived by new leaders and have lived peacefully and safely after the storms from five years ago. But after five easy years of safety, dangers start to pop up, again and again, in the forest. Join Rainkit in her story of the fate of the clans.

As Wolfkit struggles with her ability, Frostkit has trouble with OutClan, seeing she has been gifted with supreme hunting and fighting skills. Both the she-cats go through hardships and battle having the temptation of mates as young apprentices, one far worse than the other.
