In the sleepy town of Winterberry, lives a girl who's true love died tragically when he was only one. Mary Jane is surrounded by people who are looking for their true love, and one by one they find them. When she turns sixteen Mary Jane has lost all hope at finding her man. She doesn't know why, but she senses as if he doesn't exist. She doesn't blame anyone for not choosing her, as she has always seen the ghost of a boy. As she grew, so did he. One peculiar thing she noticed is that he doesn't talk. That all changed the day she turned sixteen.
