She only wanted one thing. Just one of the simplest thing. She never asked for much. Just a quick smile or even a wink for all she cared. She just wanted this boy she loved since childhood to pay attention to her like he did before everything changed. She wanted to talk easily to him like it used to be. She knew it wouldn't happen now though without a little effort.

He was always the clown of the class. Messing around, playing tricks on people, having a bad mouth. There was only one girl he looked at from afar. He had knew her since they were little. Their mothers had been friends and he had swore to never let that girl be hurt. Never would he let her cry. She did cry. A lot. All through-out elementary and middle school. And then she left. When she came back 2 years later, he barely recognized her. Everything had changed.

He was two years younger but that didn't stop him. He never was truly afraid of anything. Just... really shy. He could hold a snake with the deadliest poison in his hands but he could never be able to talk to that one particular girl. He felt so attracted to her. They were in the same bus ride home. He was leaving before her so he didn't know where exactly she lived, but he would try to sit as near as possible to her without sitting with her. When she fell asleep in the bus, he would discretly watch over her and make sure she wouldn't be disturbed.
