Devil's Redemption ~ A Pirate's Tale

Set in the early 18th century during the Golden Age of Piracy, Johnathan Vayne is a 29 year old ex-pirate who has settled down in the city of London with his wife and daughter. His life is secure and luxurious, up until an old enemy suddenly comes barging into his house, threatening to kill and kidnap for revenge and retribution. Ol' Johnny's life is turned completely upside down as he attempts to drink away his sorrows all the while doing his best to search for clues to the whereabouts of his family and their perpetrator. That is, until, he is told of a town far away in Cuba in which a notorious pirate who is described to look almost exactly like the man who took his family has been spotted.

Follow the life of Johnathan Vayne as his quest and resolve to find his family and exact vengeance upon his enemy threatens to change his entire demeanour and outlook on life itself. Through progression and experience, Johnny discovers himself changing as a person entirely, from a gentle and honest man, to an anger-driven, highly volatile, and dangerously skilled killer with almost unlimited potential, who will stop at nothing to reach his goal.

Will Johnny be able to rescue his family in time? Or will he lose himself along the way and cast aside all that is precious to him, embracing his formerly dormant killer-instinct and deeply hidden desires? People change, sometimes too much for their own good.
