She's Mine

When an 18-year old girl, Aspen Carmichael, is forced to move in with her mother after a life changing accident. She is forced to start at a new high school 2 weeks into her senior year, and make friends. Lucky for her she already has 2 friends there. She thought she could make her life go back to normal except for being with her mom, but then something else comes up causing Aspen to want to sink into her hole of solitary she was in during the summer. She wished she could have someone who could see all of the real her. Everybody she knew, there were things she either wasn't comfortable telling them, or she thought she couldn't tell them. Then, she finds the one person she could do this with, Dakota Eden.
Dakota just so happens to be friends with the 2 friends she has there already. When he sees her in the hallway on her first day he has to contain himself from walking up to her and start flirting. All the girls started flirting with him at some point, but she was different. The one girl he was noticing now, was the one girl not flirting with him. He knew she was different, but it was a good different.When he noticed the deep sorrow filled part in her eyes that she hid away easily from everyone else, he knew exactly what she was doing. She was putting up her walls. He wondered to himself, "What makes this amazing girl do this?"
