When things get rough and you can't find a way to possibly live another day with the people you or stuck living with, do you risk everything, including your life, and leave? Or, do you stay and endure every day of torture just to stay alive?
This is the story of a girl named Acrid, and how she was forced to battle everyone of her days out in an unforgiving orphanage with cruel people. One day the thought of leaving crosses her mind. At these insane orphanages, attempting to leave would already be hard enough because of the crazy living facilities, and life would only get worse when she left. Where would she go? The streets would be her only choice. Plus how could she leave without her two closes friends Cynthia and Xander? They also have to live in the same unforgiving conditions as her, but could she risk dragging her best friends into the dangers of leaving and the terrors of the streets?
So then, Acrid is faced with the question. "Do I leave? Or do I stay?"
