Sana, a part time college lecturer and an editor at Express Tribune meets Shahid, a novice Indian writer on social media and were good friends. But constant pushing from her friends, she kept thinking about him more and more and finally proposed him. He had already developed a sense of responsibility towards her over these years and her proposal was nothing new for him. They were same like before and crazy for each other. Sometimes they took a day off to talk to each other. Whether they were at work or movies or even bathroom, they had their phone with them and their fingers typing long and short messages. But when it came to their parent's notice they sensed that it was time to marry her off. They fixed her marriage with her cousin but Sana didn't know that. She was planning to come to India to meet Shahid but when suddenly her nikkah was done, all her dreams cracked like glasses. She wrote her last love letter to Shahid which never reached him. Sana was not allowed to be on social media and so Shahid couldn't get a reply from her even after texting her a thousand times. Shahid wrote to the office of The Express Tribune to know her whereabouts but no reply came from them.
Five years have passed since then, but Shahid hasn't forgotten her. One fine morning he sat with the newspaper and an advertisement about a book launch in Delhi caught his attention. The writer was Sana. Though he was not sure if it was that Sana from Lahore, his heart spoke that it was her. Shahid hurried inside his room to get his laptop and searched the author on the book. Yes! It was her. She was featured on the publisher's website and she didn't look a day older. It was the same Sana Zaidi from Lahore, but, she was married. Shahid was silent yet his heart screamed loud music of love. He was determined to see her in flesh and blood. Will Sana recognise him? Did she come to India to see him? Will she put her marriage before everything and have a proper breakup with him?
