"You're important, Bluepaw, no doubt. But make sure you don't let it go to your head," the medicine cat mewed, touching her nose to the new apprentices'. "Go to my head?" she echoed, her brow furrowing slightly. "You mean, I shouldn't think about it?" Barkpelt purred with amusement. "No, think about it all you like. But don't let it affect how you think of the rest of us. And don't let it consume who you are." *** Bluepaw knew from the age of six moons that she was special. StarClan had given her clan, ScrubClan, a prophecy which said so. Saving her clan was her duty, and her destiny. But StarClan is mysterious, and their prophecies even more so. Will Bluepaw be able to keep her identity separate from a future foretold for her by the stars? And will her prophecy ever be fulfilled?

Ravenpaw has always felt alone. Her Clan had told her that she had been abandoned as a kit, and they had saved her from starving. While she is determined to serve WindClan as a medicine cat, she cannot help but feel that Crowstar's glares carry hidden meaning. When the opportunity to go on a quest comes up, Ravenpaw doesn't hesitate to leave the Clan. Out on barren land, will she finally realize what loyalty to the Clan means or will she leave her Clan forever? Finally, she misunderstands a dream and goes searching for answers. But sometimes, the truth is better hidden than out in the open.
