Majority just think of them as mythical creatures, almost all. Many don't believe it until they sᴇᴇ it. ••• A young boy in his freshman year named Killua, is about to experience life's truest wonders. He doesn't really have any friends, he only has an acquaintance named Leorio, who only critiques him. Although, Leorio does love him deep down anyways. The two everyday would go sit on the ocean docks, staring at the waves in silence. Leorio would just think about his future. Killua on the other hand, would think about who and what's out there. He wishes to make a friend of his own.. What will happen when someone appears out of the waves, and watches with curiosity?

"You're a what.?" He asked in disbelief. "I'm a mermaid. That's why I brought you here. To the place where I became one." I explained. "Avery, I don't believe you." He shook his head and started for the exit. A tear rolled down my cheek. After everything we've been through, he doesn't believe me.? "I can prove it.." I slowly turned to the water. He turned around and stared at me. "Then do it." He crossed his arms. I jumped into the water and felt the transformation happen. I rose to the surface to find him staring at me.
