At First Sight

"I thought you were gone so I killed him for you, that's how much control you have over me!" Derek snapped as he threw a glass at the wall the shards shattering falling to the ground.
"And I'm still here! That's how much control you have over me!" I snapped back taking a step towards him. "I love you Derek... "
"Listen to us, this is toxic" he said pain and restraint in his voice as he gestered to the both of us. "We are in a toxic relationship Tet, I just killed a guy and you try to find someone else to blame! "
I couldn't keep going like this I knew we weren't good for each other, but he was like a drug to me, I wanted him and only him. our relationship is like a toxic poisin that keeps making you coming back for more no matter how hard you try and resist it. He's my kryptonite and I his, I guess fate really is as cruel as they say.
