Ember Alvares, the girl who never quite fit in. She was always considered the outsider, the lone wolf. Ember has always had a dark past that she is always trying to run from but in the end it always comes back to her and haunts her. It doesn't really help with what people think about her either. People think she is strange for her interest in the dead. People always blamed her when strange things happened. It isn't even her fault... or is it?
Everything changes when she meets Leo Valdez. His love for Mechanics and his sense of humor made her realize there is hope in life. But that was until she found out Greek Mythology is real and that she is a demigod. Once she gets to Camp Half-Blood, that's when the real adventure begins and it all points to her father and one oath.

But the arrival of Steph was the final straw. Steph destroyed their relationship even before it started. But he couldn't shake the feelings out. But then again maybe it's Aphrodite messing with his feelings.
