It takes one wrong choice, it takes one mistake to change your entire life. Lucille made that mistake, that night she made the horrible choice to seek refuge in between the dark, towering trees of the forest. Hiding and trying to fight her anger she was unaware of the other person hiding in the shadows and fighting their urge. Their urge to sink their teeth into the tender skin of her neck. Lucille being a human girl that she was, was unaware of the creatures of the night but fate had plans; plans for her to meet those said creatures. The only flaw to fate's plan was whether Lucille will survive the bite and accept the darker side of life. The bite wasn't the only she was going to have to survive. She was going to have to survive her mate and he was going to have to survive her. The thing was, was Lucille willing to be the person he wanted her to be? Was she willing to accept her new life and was she going to accept to be his second choice? And if not? Who will show Lucille that love exsists and you just need to find the right person to show you. And if that person happens to have mysterious grey eyes maybe just maybe she will allow herself to experience love for the first time.

Paranormal Romance (Werewolf) You know that movie Jerry Maguire? It's about this sports agent who got fired for suddenly having a conscience. Anyway, there's this very romantic scene by the end of the movie when Jerry made this very heartfelt and passionate declaration to his wife. Those words would melt you into a puddle and make you burst into tears thinking, "I want to have that kind of love!" Well that very sweet scene did not happen on this story, not all of it anyway. Don't get me wrong it was heart wrenching, very much so, and there was a passionate declaration. But instead of saying the oh so loving, oh so sweet and oh so scripted "I love you. You complete me..." like Jerry did in the movie, my 'mate', the other half of my soul and the one who 'completes' me said, "I hate you. I wish you were dead!" He said it with disgust and anger burning in his eyes. He didn't run into my arms like he was supposed to, he ran away from it. But who could blame him? Jerry Maguire was right. We live in a cynical world and we work on a business of tough competitors. Why would my mate want to be with me? He'd be shunned and be forever laughed at. Aside from the fact that I was male, I'm basically useless to him because I'm a werewolf who can't phase. He's an alpha. He could have anyone he wants. And me, well, I'm on the bottom of the pack, the runt of the litter. The council didn't know what to do with me. They couldn't kill me since it could drive my mate insane, even if he didn't want me. I can't kill myself because it would probably have the same effect on him. I have to live but I can't be with my mate and my pack. So I made it easier for everyone, I ran away. I always believed in the saying "Out of sight, out of mind." What I didn't consider was the possibility that they'd come after me and forcefully bring me back.

All I ever wanted to be was happy, sing, dance and laugh. I never knew a dream like that could be taken away from me in just one moment. That's all it took for it to disappear. *this was my first book ever so there is cringe+gaps in the plot, you have been warned😅* "Honey, this is going to sound crazy, but are town is full of werewolves." He said with a straight face. I bursted out laughing, I mean you think I just heard the funniest joke in the universe. All my dad does is keep a straight face. "Ok, good one." He stares at me. "I'm not kidding around Hayley." I start to get nervous. "Dad that isn't possible, I'm human your human." He stares at me more. Hayley is just your average senior, getting through high school. That's until she finds out she is half werewolf, her boats get a little rocky. When she finds her mate, her world turns upside down. There are spelling errors and mistakes. So please don't get mad. Hope you guys enjoy 😋

i was walking down the road near the forest when i suddenly feel that it's hard to breathe.. i was panicking, i was nowhere near our house .. so i ran to the forest and closed my eyes from the excruciating pain .. and then i heard my bones crack .. when i opened my eyes i was with paws.. wait what? PAWS?!

"That was cheesy...in fact this whole thing was cheesy". His arms tighten around me. "It was bad?" "God no, it just seems like something I've read in a book".

This is mainly full of song lyrics. Sorry. I'm not creative enough to actually make short stories. There are, like, two chapters that are short stories, but that's it. TW: If you're easily disturbed by talk or mention of suicide, some chapters are not for you (i.e. My R, Her Last Words, Willow Tree). You may skip these chapters if you please. ALSO, there is some strong language (i.e. fuck, shit, asshole, etcetera). Please be mindful of that. Thank you for your time.
