The Long Night has passed. The dead were defeated in the North, and the Iron Throne lies in ruins. Daenerys Targaryen, believed by many to be The Prince That Was Promised, is dead. Westeros breathes, but peace remains fragile. The prophecy that guided generations of Targaryens seems fulfilled-until the truth resurfaces. The prophecy was never complete. "Born amidst salt and smoke, beneath a bleeding star, The Prince That Was Promised paved the way for Westeros's savior." In the heart of Old Valyria, where fire still burns and shadows linger, something stirs. Daella of House Barlaeris-sorcerer, seer, and the last of an ancient Valyrian bloodline-awakens. Trapped in stone for centuries, her prison is shattered when a blood wyrm coils around it, drawn by the magic of a forgotten past. As Westeros struggles to rebuild, a deeper threat looms-one no king or queen is prepared to face. The Prince That Was Promised was only the harbinger. The true battle for the realm's soul has yet to be fought. Daella carries the magic and knowledge of Valyria, but Westeros is wary of sorcery and prophecy. With dragons scarce and trust scarcer, Daella must unite a broken realm that would sooner see her as a threat than a savior. For the song of ice and fire is not yet finished-and the final verse belongs to her.
