Victoria Nightingale never wanted to be an outlaw, but when she heard that the King of a neighboring kingdom, known as Weinren, had murdered her family. The moment Victoria had found out, she gathered her father's daggers and his favorite sword then headed to the stables to saddle her horse.
Nightfall came and the young woman finally reached her destination. The Kingdom of Weinren.
Soon after Victoria had slain the King, the guard threw her in the dungeon. The kingdom wanted to execute her immediately, though the heir to the throne had other plans. Prince Adrian had known Victoria when he ran away from his home and was welcomed at the Nightingale's small cottage.
The prince wanted to wait until he became the king to kill Victoria. However, she didn't want to die not yet at least. Victoria decided to escape when the guards fell asleep.
