Translucia

High above the ground, prepratory schools for boys and girls float in the clouds. After their sixteenth birthday, teens from all over Earth are sent to prestigious academies to be educated. Only a special few pass the end-of-year test and are allowed to live on Translucia, the heavenly land orbiting Earth. Any who are not accepted to Translucia are Rejects and are sent back to Earth to slave away on mines until their death. Enter Azion, a girl who begins to question why these schools truly exist. Azion starts to uncover the dark secrets that lurk behind the magical exterior of Translucia, shattering how people in the two worlds live their lives. With a mysterious boy, a deadly poison, and a secret that could destroy both worlds, Azion struggles between accepting who Translucia wants her to be and whom she truly is.
