In this strikingly touching poem journal, follow the journey of a young afghan refugee, Ajani. As time passes in Kabul, Afghanistan, the capital and the city which she was born and raised in, she struggles to find serenity for her and her family. This poem journal written in the perspective of the 8 year old is surely to trigger the many emotions that a child experiences at the time of war in a third world country. Will Ajani and her family find peace in America? Or will the risks of fleeing barricade her in the dangerous placed that she has to call home?

Hey, I'm Madison Aden, looks like you found my journal from when I was a kid. Everything in there helped me become who am today, with the contribution of my best friend Jayden Morgan, who was able to let me see life from a new light. Hear our backstory, and some of my forgotten journal entries. Find out where we are today. Together or apart? Find out who I am today. When we were little we always said we align. Was it true?
