"What do you mean? Why do you speak the way you do?" He asked, curiosity and confusion evident on his face. "Because no matter how much you want your life to change. It never does. Everything stays the same. You still have the same problems but with a different living condition. your either rich and unhappy or poor and unhappy. No matter if your pretty as can be or uglier than the grossest sea, your still unhappy. Your life could be handed to you on a silver platter and you'd still be unhappy. Why? Because that's life."

Regardless of size, putting your life on hold until you reach that perfect weight, does no one any good. This will be my collection of poems reflecting on societies obsession with weight and size and the effect this has on us and how we can change this. We shouldn't be allowing it to determine whether we should be happy, successful or loved. Enough is enough. Start living. You deserve it all now. I give thanks to anyone who reads this collection, it's appreciated with all my heart and if you also happen to hit the little vote button, you have my eternal gratitude ❤️.
