After a night of clubbing goes wrong Kendall White finds herself thrown into a world of vampires. While fighting to save her friend from being killed she finds herself falling in love with Jacob, the leader of a vampire coven. And to make things even more complicated she also finds that she is wanted by a secret group of supernatural beings who want her for her strange blood.

'But what happened next is something that would haunt me forever. The man yanked her up into a standing position by her hair and bent her head back at an odd, uncomfortable angle. Alyssa screamed and looked directly at me her teary eyes pleading for help as the stranger suddenly let out a terrifying laugh and sank his teeth into her neck ripping a piece of it out. Blood squirted from her neck covering her already bloodied and cut up shirt even more.
Terrified I turned back to Theo hoping he would know what to do but that thought was immediately removed from my mind once I saw him. His eyes...were no longer a beautiful shade of blue and green. They were now pitch black. So black I felt as if I was looking into an abyss of terror.
I wanted to run. To get away from him and save my friend. But something told me it was too late for her and sadly it was too late for me.
I tried to will myself to move but my legs were locked in place. Feeling the undeniable feeling of dread I began to uncontrollably tremble as tears fell down my face.
"Oh sweetheart dont worry. I'll be much more gentle than my friend over here. I prefer a cleaner method of eating."

Excerpt only: I quickly run in their direction as my claws elongate into fierce points. I watch as a man in all black strikes down and kills one of the innocent packless men before turning to another. I make a flying leap to attack and am suddenly hit with a strong, overwhelming scent of vanilla and citrus. "Mate!" My wolf yells in my head.
