Abigail meets a boy named Keygin at her uncle Jerry's funeral. At first she isnt too fond of him, though he is quite the charmer she is heart broke from the ending of a long term relationship and the passing of her uncle has her in mourning. She tries her best to push him away but it only brings them closer together. She finds out that Keygin is not part of her family that he was running away from home and saw the funeral and decided to hide out. this making her feel uneasy but better about her feelings toward him.
