Clara White was 11 when she found out that she had a life threatening disease called Congenital Heart Disease which was caused by her Mother being an alcoholic while she was pregnant. Six years later Clara is still fighting for her life. At any moment Clara's life could come crashing down on her.
Now that she knows her time is ticking, she is determined to follow her dreams and live the life she knew she would never get. Clara loved to dance and made it her dream to dance on stage in front of hundreds, if not thousands of people. Along the way she bumps into a handsome stranger named Adam Montgomery.
Adam one day finds Clara dancing and is motivated to find out why she dances with so much power and strength, he wonders if it's just because she loves what she does or it is there something more to Clara?
Meanwhile Clara's Father is determined to keep his daughter fighting and alive but he knows that she cannot hang on forever.
Will Clara get to live out her dream as a dancer while she's still here on Earth?

"That was weird, but I can't stop my heart beating ten times faster than it should be. Laying down on the bed I face away from the bathroom door not wanting him to look at me. I pull the white cover up to my nose and look at the wall. I hear the bathroom door open and footsteps reach closer to the bed. The covers are being moved behind me as Mateo gets ready to sleep. I reach up to turn off the lap on my nightstand, and when I do we're left in the dark abyss of my room. Mateo's arm wraps itself around my waist and pulls me back into his hard chest. He gently lifts my head up and puts it back down onto his bicep. I take in a shaky breath and close my eyes deciding it is best to just sleep. Feeling his breath on the crown of my head, I'm more relaxed than I was before and start feeling sleepier by the second. But before sleep overtakes my mind. I hear Mateo mutter something. [ please don't read this. it's not terrible i guess but i keep it up for my ego and literally nothing else. please. ] claire definitely doesn't love teenage drama. who does? it's messy, and can get you in all sorts of complicated places. but somehow, she manages to get caught up into a whirlwind of drama every time, even if she doesn't want to, with her daredevil best friend bridget. she's a pretty good student, and her life is going fine. she doesn't really need a boyfriend or a crush, and she has good friends and good grades. you don't need much more than that in high school. but thats when bridget decides she wants to make moves on her crush, even if its anonymously. meaning, of course, she has to bring claire down with her too. and so when the popular best friend of bridget's crush asher comes up to her and accuses her of doing something she in fact did do, she is forced to tangle herself into the sticky web of teenage problems. which sucks, really, but she'll get through it. hopefully. maybe. © melloraie 2020Complete
