Time For A Story

I wrote this book not for your entertainment but for it to hit you in the heart harder then any book ever has before.

I sat there on that cold winter day sipping on my cup of hot tea and staring out the window as the snow fell peacefully to the ground. I sighed as I took another sip and placed the cup gently back onto the table. Then he walked in and looked around with a questioning look on his face until his eyes connected with mine. He walked over to me and sat across from me. I was quietly waiting for him to initiate the inevitable conversation we were about to proceed with.

"So, tell me your story." He said anxiously waiting to hear. Be came by everyday and I'm not sure why but I waited for him everyday to come in and sit in front of me, then break the silence as he would ask me for my story. I would usually sit back and sigh and tell him, "Maybe another time", but this time, I'm not completely sure why, I decided to tell him.

I looked at him and said, "Do you like tea?" and he looked at me confused at first then replied with, "Sorry, yes I do like a good cup of tea every now and then." I called the waiter over and ordered him a cup of hot tea. Then, I looked at him and said calmly, "The story is long and it has its ups and it's downs, but it's just important that you listen and pay attention."

He nodded his head eagerly, waiting for me to start. I watched him for a little bit before starting to speak again, this time saying, "My story begins..."
