《 2024, the year the "Game of Death" was completed, the year the prisoners of such a world were offered liberty. 2026, Ordinal Scale was released, aside its Drive Augma. 2028: Project Calamity was surfaced: a ranged VRMMORPG, linking to the benefit factors of Sword Art Online, Alfheim Online and their Cardinal. The new VR device, VirA, was supposedly the NerveGear's descendant and was owned by a company, known to be run by Akihiko Kayaba's relative, Domachi Koroya. Project Calamity was vaguely known for its supernatural graphics and responsive commands, yet not as good as Ordinal Scale's. Between competition, Domachi progressed to an extent where he could allow his creation to live up to its name. 》
