The Lawless

She was backed up against the wall, yet again. He ran his ice cold fingers down her bleeding throat. The cut stung. She yelped.

"What are you doing...?" It hurt to even whisper. His hands moved from the wall to her shoulders, rendering her immobile.

"Stay still. It will only hurt for a moment." His breath, fanned her neck, sending unfamiliar tingles down her spine.

"Ah!" She moaned as she felt his frozen lips against her burning neck. A thousand and one impulses shook her body.

"Done." He said, letting go of her, all too soon. She touched her wound. There was nothing.

Like she'd never been hurt in the first place.
