When a troubled Poseidon gives Percy an urgent quest, he does not hesistate to follow his father's orders. But Poseidon isn't sharing all the details with him. This quest he is about to embark on is filled with mystery and importance. Percy suspects that there is more to this quest than his father lets on.

With the help of Tyson and Grover, they go to New York to search for a certain someone that is crucial to their quest and is able to give them the answers they need to everything. But what awaits them is in fact a legend that has been forgotten for almost three decades. They have only until the Summer Solstice to complete their task and if they fail, a terrible consequence awaits them. But a question will test Percy once he succeeds in doing so. How will he accept this new person coming into his already complicated enough life?

Arianni has been running for a long time. She left the world she knew because of a serious threat made against the people she loves. She wandered lost until a group of women welcomed her into their family with open arms and she fit in perfectly. Just when she was starting to settle into her new life, a responsibility from the past will force her to decide. Will she come back to where she came from to fulfill an unescapable fate or turn her back on her family? Again.

She had pushed herself past her breaking point, and still continued on as if nothing was wrong. The demigod knew if she allowed herself time to take even a moment, her soul would physically crack in two. Now was not the time for weakness, if anything, she had to be stronger. She knew the other girls would mumble about her, but Icaria wouldn't listen to them. She refused to watch someone she loved fall at the hands of Thanatos again. If need be, she would offer herself to him in place. Yet, there was someone who noticed the young girl breaking apart. She could see the bags grow darker, and watched as Icaria began to eat less and less. It was the same someone who had saved Icaria all those years ago. And the goddess refused to watch that someone suffer any longer. The goddess, Artemis, stepped out of her tent in the early morning light. All of her girls were getting rest, taking the opportunity to relax with the very few days of peace they had left. All except one. In the distance, the goddess could hear the distinct sound of metal striking against wood. She took quiet steps, and watched Icaria Kane from a distance. The girl breathed heavily, her body slumped from exhaustion. "Icaria?" Artemis asked, stepping through the early morning fog. "Why do you cry?" The demigods body tightened, urging the tears to stop falling. She turned her body away from her goddess, clutching Hearth in her hands.

24 parts Complete

It's been two years now, since it happened. Since he lost the most important person to him. Furious with the gods, Percy has separated himself from his life as a demigod, and is now attending a mortal college. He has friends, decent grades, much less frequent monster attacks (thanks, Hades), an adorable baby sister, and even has a girlfriend. But when he meets someone from his past, he realizes there might be a chance of something he's been wishing for for the past two years. That she was still alive.
