Liam has just moved from London to the small wet Northern town known locally as The Vale. As the new boy he struggles to find friends at school, as a werewolf he struggles to keep up with his school work. And with a new step-father and baby sister, he finds little sanctuary in his new 'home'.

To make matters even worse, tensions between Human and Abhuman residents on the rise after the mysterious disappearance of a local man. Soon the relationship between the Human and Abhuman residents begin to break down as the people of The Vale begin to look for someone to blame. Unfortunately, that person is Liam.

Fran has lived in the Vale almost all her life. Brought up by Count Marinwood the village vampire and Boggy, his thuggish business partner, in a house seemingly with a mind of it's own, Fran's life is far from ordinary. In fact, you could say the only ordinary thing about Fran is that she's human.

That's until a discovery leads Fran to question her status as Human. With her sense of self suddenly turned upside down Fran must figure out who (or what) she is and where exactly her loyalties lie.

Human or Abhuman? You must pick a side.
