It is Christmas, and a certain family of bats (or birds) is ready to enjoy it. But there are some difficulties, namely, a boy named Leo Valdez, a little boy who is spending time with the Wayne family until a spot in an orphanage or foster home opens up. Overall, he is a jokester, an annoying person who does all the wrong stuff at the wrong time (or is it right time?) he always smiling and joking, but he is so stupid. And besides, he doesn't know the 'secret' yet. That makes it difficult to to give weapons for presents. But this Christmas, the youngest of the Wayne's finds something unexpected about their part-time guest. That maybe, just maybe there is more to this unwanted gleeful child than what meets the eye? That he is smart if only you pay attention? That he is sadder than he lets on? Or maybe, he knows more about them, and certain relations, than they do?

This is my seventh story and the first one I am publishing. Please add any critics you may have so I can improve my writing. Please no hate if it has no information on how to improve. I really hope you enjoy this, (and cry over it.). Thank you!

'This is a story about a boy, not so different from Icarus, who flew to high to the sun. But instead of dying, he had to live with a mask to hide his pain, smile to hide his sadness, laugh to hide his despair. This is the story of a boy without family, one who had to keep moving. And like Icarus, was considered stupid, while all he wanted was to find joy. A boy forgotten and overlooked, for someone more famous. A boy who is more than he seems.'

Warning: there is depression and self-harm in this book. Maybe swearing. If you don't feel comfortable with this, please don't read it.

The characters and settings and other stuff belong to DC and Rick Riordan. Any songs or pictures come from whomever made them. The plot and ideas comes from my imagination.

DC Series Book One "No don't..." But her arms go up and the mesmerizing portals appear. Through the portal closest to them, the boys can see grass and park benches where concrete and pavement should be. She jumps through and as she does, the portal in front of them collapses. Off in the distance, where the park is, Tim can see her running away, dark hair flying in the wind. "Real smooth Drake." Damian says, striding towards me. "Should've asked for her number while you were at it." --- "Phantom? That's the name you're going with?" "It's a hell of a lot cooler than Robin." She snaps back at him. "Robin was not a name that I..." Tim grabs Damian by his cape as he marches toward her. "Be nice to the guests Damian." Alfred says in a tired voice, interrupting Damian's rant. "Bite me." He snarls at Ria. --- Dabria Tran has lived in Gotham City her whole life. First as a nurtured, well looked after baby, then as an orphaned, forgotten child and now as a desperate, impulsive teenager. At the ripe age of eighteen, Ria is on the streets, fending for herself and dealing with powers she can barely control. It is while on patrol that Tim Drake and Damian Wayne spot this camouflaged girl of the night and try to stop her as she breaks into a local convenience store, not to steal the cash but the food. After obsessively tracking her for a week, Tim finally catches up with her, finding her holed up in an abandoned building with another younger girl she is trying to care for. Bruce Wayne doesn't hesitate to take them in, but Ria's mistrust of them leads to tension in the house. Her powers are dangerous, volatile and no matter how hard Tim tries, he can't get her to open up to him. As Ria's shadowed past slowly catches up with her, the Bat Family finally realizes that they have no idea what kind of forces they're dealing with. "Hazel." "What?" "My name." I swallowed hesitantly, afraid to shatter the silence between us anymore than I already had, "It's Hazel." The silence of the night made it seem as if someone breathing too loud could make the silence shatter into a million pieces. My voice was no exception, and I was terrified that if I spoke to loud, even one word, the it would shatter, along with everything in the room. The silence seemed to make my voice feel smaller than it was, so when I finally heard his footsteps again, it shocked me to hear how loud and distinctive each one was, as if the silence broke just for him. As if he ruled the silence. It's as if he didn't even view the silence as fragile, but a force that he had to over come. And he didn't want to back down from the fight. <~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~> Summary: Hazel has always tried to do the right thing and be the best person she can be, but that can get confusing when you end up being hunted by someone you don't even know. Or she thought she didn't. Her life has few shadows and a lot of light. Jason Todd has a past that he can't seem to recover from, while Hazel has a past that seems perfect. What happens when both of these are proved wrong? His life has a lot of shadows and few light. And what if the person who helps Hazel ends up being the person who is the most opposite from her? <~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~> Rankings: Jason Todd #4 Batfamily #1 Red hood #1 Nightwing #1 Robin #1 Red Robin #2 bruce wayne #1 batman #1 wally west #1 dick grayson #1 tim drake #3 original character #4

Book 2 of the 'Demigod in Gotham' Series When Nico moved to Gotham, all he wanted was to do good. He never asked to be adopted by Bruce Wayne. He never asked for Slade to come after him. He never asked to die. And more than anything else, he never asked to be revived. ---------- "I excused what you did with Slade, but you cannot continue to break rules and put yourself at risk-" Nico laughed. "Excused? You excused it?" Nightwing approached the table, probably knowing where this was going. "Demo-" The demigod ignored his brother. "Slade wanted to sell my people as slaves. Not only did he deserve to die, but he needed to." Bruce stood up, his hands on the table. "Slade's death was not your call and I respected that-" "No, you were forced to accept it because you couldn't stop me. You wanted me to spare him, just like every single one of your sons have up until that point, but how did that work out? When did Slade ever face justice for all the things he had done after they spared him? He deserved to die for everything he had done!" "It is not our place-" "Then thank f*ck that it actually was my place to do what you never could!" Bruce clenched his jaw. They stared at each other for a long moment before Bruce finally said, "We fight for justice, not vengeance. If you allow yourself to sink down to that place, you may never come back. It will kill you if you keep on fighting to avenge things that have not even happened yet" Nico stared at his father, the rage that had been boiling underneath his skin every second since he had woken up back in November began to break through the surface. He took off his domino mask and tossed it onto the table, making sure that Bruce had to look at his eyes-- the ones that no longer resembled the fourteen year old that Bruce had once asked to join his family. "Good thing I already died then." --------- daily updates @ 12:15 am EST (starting April 8th )

❝ thanatophobia: (n.) the phobia of losing someone you love ❞ • • • This must've been the first dream about that night in many years. The first night terror in a month or two, actually. Percy was twenty-one now, years after the end of both wars and over a decade after that wretched night. However, he knew the ending scenes of his dream were far from what really happened. While he would have liked to introduce Gabe to the wrath of Medusa earlier, that only happened after his first quest. At ten years old after his mother's death, Percy did not stand up at fight. He ran. He ran and ran and ran until he collapsed in an alleyway, near ready to follow his mother's descent. He may have been successful, if he hadn't met Gotham's Dark Knight. Percy sat up in his bed, his memories effectively pushing the sleep from his system. Batman had scooped him up and whispered promises of a better life, one with his friend Bruce Wayne. Percy could never recollect how he ended up in a plush bed inside Wayne Manor that same night, or how he ended up joining the coveted Wayne family. All he knew of was the gentle hands of their butler tending to his wounds and the warm smiles of Bruce Wayne and his other ward: Dick Grayson. • • • in which percy jackson returns to wayne manor, in hopes that he hasn't made his old family wait too long for him.
