Nova patrols the woods near his home town, after getting a call stating that some kids were vandalizing the park.
But something was off. . . there was no sound. He shrugged as he continued to patrol the woods slowly, old leaves crunching loudly under each foot step he took.
He was in the middle of the woods, there was still no sound as he searched for the hooligans. He sighed loudly.
"Ba-dump"
He jumped. Unexpectedly hearing the echo of someone giggling at the edge of the woods.
"Hello ?"
Suddenly . . . . . .

"Hey," I said cautiously, scared to make the first move. Thankfully, I didn't have to make it. Luca stepped forward and took me by the waist, pulling me close to him. Alicia and Chloe were two best friends with a weird past. Two seventeen year olds kicking a soccer ball around. As happy as they could be. The silence had killed them, almost literally. Especially when those bodies are yours. Apart of the after life, these two girls roam. Earth has changed. Monsters lurking in dark alley ways and killers at every street. Vampires as friends?
