My name is Cassius Gaea Mateo, I just turned 15 years old and I have been chosen to work in the great Knossos Palace. It is a great honour and I am happy. 
I think I am happy, Old Amara says that I should think about all the others girls in my town that would die to serve in the great Knossos Palace.  I should be grateful or it would be selfish of me. 
It is good pay, it will send my two siblings to school and I will be able to pay Old Amara the cost of accommodating me and my siblings. It is just for two years then I will be free to go home if I chose to.
