Delaney's situation was a little messed up; if she were to count a number of guys who ended up cheating on her, she'd be filthy rich. That's not even the messed up part. The girl who ends up in bed with said boyfriends? Her very own twin sister. What happens when the man of mystery shows more interest than the others? All Delaney knows how to do is push them away, so how is she supposed to react when one keeps pushing back? ✮ I gritted my teeth, shooting the evilest of glares at the man before me. In times of dire need, I craved answers. Answers I had been hoping for ever since he started making it obvious just how much he hated me. "Why do you hate me so much?" I snapped. What made me even more pissed off was the fact that this guy pushed all the right buttons that made me go insane. He was watching me curiously. The slight tick to his jaw gave notice of his anger that matched my own. "You really want to know?" "Yes!" I exclaimed. "God, you piss me off so much. What have I ever done to you? Looked at you the wrong way? Said something wrong? Because I've gone over everything, and nothing matches up." Something snapped inside of him. He stalked forward, slamming the palms of his hands on either side of my head. He dipped his head daringly low, enough for me to feel his breath tickle my neck. "Maybe I hate you because you're a self-entitled bitch who gets whatever she wants, all because she bats her eyes at daddy." Irritated, I was about to say something, until his finger pressed up against my lips, shushing me. "Or," he continued, bringing his face out so he could look into my eyes. "Maybe it pisses me off that all I can think about whenever I see you is throwing you over my shoulder and doing very, very bad things to you."
