Jakey (that's me) is the son of an uncaring auction house magnate who despises the art auction scene. Over his objections he's become the auctioneer at an event in a near-future Manhattan where anarchy runs rampant, crime thrives, and things get worse by the day. This particular auction sees the unthinkable occur: a well-known "Robin Hood" gang led by the mysterious Little Red Riding Hood (THAT oughta narrow it down somewhat), hired by the dad to protect the paintings and provide security, not only makes off with the merchandise, but also with Jakey and a number of the motley crew he calls relatives as hostages. Now Jakey has a notoriously prickly personality (even among his family), so he figures the best way to deal with Little Red Riding Hood and her crew is to be as prickly as humanly possible. What he actually sets up, however, is a dangerous game of psychological chicken where one false move could very well be his last. The stakes couldn't be any higher... right?
