After returning to the Shire from their long and life-changing journey, the four famous Hobbits must learn to live again, as they did once before. But it is a difficult thing, to go back to an old life, and the four hobbits soon realize that no matter how hard they try, they will never be the same again. This is What Happened Thereafter.

"What Happened Thereafter" by the incredibly talented and sweet @CrimsonSparks is a story completely, undeniably worth reading.

While she keeps the feel that Tolkien gave us in the books as well as stays true to the ending that he originally wrote, she adds her own twist and voice with the addition of her four female hobbits: Daffodil, Ivy, Nettle, and Thorn. Each girl is so different from the next, complete with their own lovable quirks and characteristics that makes the reader adore them instantly for who they are as individuals as well as a whole.

The unity that she presents between the characters is so unbreakable and true that I literally feel like I'm melting with adoration as I'm reading.The writing is fantastic and the story-line enjoyable. Every time I see that she's updated, I squeal and smile and read it immediately because I cannot wait to see what she has to give her readers next. I find myself sucked into it, and when it's over, I'm dying for more, more, more!

It is a brilliant, adorable, enchanting story that I would recommend for any Tolkienite/Ringer. You won't be disappointed!
