Living in 18th century Britain is tough, but its tougher when you're suffering from a life threatening illness. Isaura coped with an illness that made her curl in pain during the day and have nightmares at night. She knew it was constantly eating away at her life, but also could not bear to add another burden on her family with the expense of a doctor. She had accepted her short life, at least until a cold, dark businessman came to the cosmopolitan city of London, shaking society's beliefs and her own. Suddenly a desire for more time engulfed her. There had to be more to life after all, no?
