Tia Mau is a beautiful, dark-haired, green-eyed girl who has a secret, dark and painful, that she cannot share with anyone. She is not just an average, all-American young woman. She is a creature, born in ancient Egypt, that lives to feed on the life force of others. Cursed by a vengeful goddess, she suffers every day knowing that she must prey on the humans she has sworn to protect from her curse in order to fulfill her oath. Until she meets a young man, she has thought herself cold and vile, a creature born of darkness. As she slowly lets him into her heart, she comes to realize that she isn't the monster she'd always thought herself to be.
However, when an old friend she'd thought long dead returns to avenge herself, Tia must defend Aiden from this new monster that she had created ages ago, and destroy a rising evil that threatens the lives of both her, Aiden, and those of all of humanity.

Carolina Mercado is just your average college student with your average college student problems - submitting assignments, struggling to pay rent, dodging annoying roommates. But that all changes when she takes a trip to Egypt in attempt to find some adventure. Instead she finds a cursed tomb, and unknowingly reawakens an ancient feud. It's not until she returns home to New York City where she meets a certain young, new CEO to a multi-million dollar company that she realize she can't run away from the mummy's curse forever. ....................................................................................................................................... Bony arms wrap around me and drag me backwards. As if a switch was flipped, I can suddenly feel my body again and I rip myself away from the monster. The second I turn around, I'm faced by the same decaying face I saw in the tomb as well as in the bar. I slowly take a step back, but I soon find I can't go further when a wall suddenly appears behind me out of no where. The mummy slowly steps towards me and with every step he takes, he changes. His skin regenerates and the paleness fades away. He's nearly a step away from me when I start to notice a certain familiar chiseled jawline, familiar deliciously full lips, and familiar aristocratic nose. His devilish red eyes change into an icy blue that are piercing my soul. NOTE: Updates every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoon (EST).

Milo is a Kaw-Sekhmu who has been dormant for over 150 years, waking up to a world that has changed beyond recognition. When he awakens in a morgue, he realizes that he can no longer stomach blood and has nowhere to turn for support. Milo's decision to turn to the first person he finds for support backfires when he misunderstands the significance of tattoos and turns a vegan, dooming them both. But just when Milo thinks things can't get any worse, his past comes back to haunt him in the form of an Egyptian deity from long ago, powered by a mysterious sect of people wearing black hoods. As Milo struggles to understand their plans and what they mean for the world, he realizes that the stakes are higher than he could have ever imagined. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "For as long as he lived and the many troubles he had. Milo had never once considered suicide a viable option. However, as of late, the wicket idea would simply pass threw his thoughts. He had never been in so much pain. He had never felt so alone. But the better question was. Would it even be possible? If he had really thought about it. If it was something he really wanted. Was there a way to kill him? He thought not, but surely nothing can last forever, not even him." (Disclaimer, I'm not great at spelling or grammar. I cannot get a professional editor, But I did my best.)
