Avery Graham lost her parents in a car crash 1 year ago and now lives with her Aunt Karen and her two brothers Liam and Matt. She is in her last year at Greyshore Heights and can't wait to leave the town she once called home. Although her best friends, Maddie and Asher, and her family keep trying to convince her to stay but when she is offered a full scholarship at Winston College after she finishes high school she is even more hell bent on leaving and no one can convince her to stay. That is until Tyler Jones is asked by the school to watch out for Avery and to hang out with her. Although Avery is stubborn and against the idea of someone looking out for her and makes her want to belt out all the swear words she knows, she also starts to appreciate the time Tyler starts spending time with her.
